General Services Administration
SCREENED BY EZOIG Federal exclusion check against SAM.gov- WHEN
- AT HIRE At hire
- BASIS
- Standard practice for SoonerCare providers; OAC 317:30-3-19.5(2)(B) lets OHCA terminate a provider whose health care personnel are debarred or suspended from federal programs
Also required
Not registry lookups; ezOIG doesn't run these- Ask every previous employer serving children or vulnerable adults about maltreatment investigations or findings (OAC 340:100-3-39(e)(1)(B))
- Fingerprint-based national check through OKDHS for workers providing remote supports (56 O.S. § 1025.2(A)(5), (9))
- Licensed health professionals are exempt from the criminal history search (56 O.S. § 1025.2(A)(10))
- DDS training requirements for direct-contact staff (OAC 340:100-3-38); agency companions at least 21 (OHCA Agency Companion Services special provisions)
Why some registries are not screened yet
- The registry blocks automated access
- The registry's website turns away automated lookups. We don't work around that, so for now your staff search it themselves.
- The registry's terms forbid automated searches
- The registry's terms, or the law behind it, rule out automated or third-party searches, so ezOIG doesn't run them.
- Requires an employer account
- Searches go through the employer's own account with the agency, so ezOIG doesn't run them for you.
Guidance, not legal advice
This page summarizes ezOIG's research into Oklahoma's rules for this program, checked against the regulations as of October 16, 2026. Rules change, and an agency's own contract or license can add to them. Confirm what applies to you with Oklahoma Health Care Authority (SoonerCare) or your own counsel before relying on it.
