Cookie Policy

1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how ezOIG LLC ("ezOIG," "we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on ezoig.com, including the ezOIG application you use after signing in (together, the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, let a website keep small pieces of information on your device in the same way. In this policy, "cookies" includes those technologies unless we say otherwise.
3. Our Approach
We use cookies for three things: to run the Site, to process payments securely, and to advertise ezOIG and understand how our public website is used. The advertising and analytics cookies are described in section 7. The tags that set them load only on our public website and on the page that confirms a new trial, never on our sign-in pages or in the ezOIG application after you sign in, so the platforms never see your account or the people you screen.
4. Cookies We Set
These cookies are strictly necessary. The Site cannot work properly without them.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ezoig_session | Keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in and deleted when you sign out. | 14 days (12 hours when you sign in through Ritiko or Google) |
ezoig_2fa_pending | Security. Holds a password sign-in while you enter your two-factor code or set up two-factor. Deleted once you are signed in. | 10 minutes |
ezoig_sms_setup | Security. Holds the phone number you are adding for text-message codes, and that you confirmed your password, until you enter the code we texted. Deleted once the number is confirmed. | 10 minutes |
ezoig_sso_pending | Holds your Ritiko sign-in while you choose whether to link an existing ezOIG account or continue as a new user. Deleted once you choose. | 10 minutes |
ezoig_sso_nonce | Security. Set when you choose "Continue with Ritiko", so the sign-in Ritiko sends back is accepted only in the browser that asked for it. Deleted when you return. | 10 minutes |
ezoig_google_flow | Security. Set when you choose "Continue with Google" or connect Google to your profile, so the answer Google sends back is accepted only in the browser that asked for it. Deleted when you return. | 10 minutes |
ezoig_google_pending | Holds your Google sign-in while you confirm your ezOIG password to connect it. Deleted once you do. | 10 minutes |
ezoig_passkey | Security. Holds the one-time challenge while you sign in with a passkey or add one, so your device's answer is accepted only once and only in the browser that asked for it. Deleted when that step completes. | 5 minutes |
ezoig_csrf | Security. Protects the forms you submit against forged requests from other websites. | 12 hours |
ezoig_prefs | Remembers how you prefer names to be displayed. Set only if you save that preference. | 1 year |
5. Information Stored in Your Browser
We also store the following in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
mode | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. | Until you clear it |
dashboard-banner-dismissed | Remembers that you dismissed a notice on your dashboard, so it stays hidden. | Until you clear it |
nav-groups-closed | Remembers which sections of the sidebar menu you collapsed. | Until you clear it |
6. Payment and Spam Protection
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe's script is loaded on the payment step of signup and on the pages of the ezOIG application after you sign in. It is not loaded on our public pages or sign-in pages. Stripe uses it to secure payments and to detect and prevent fraud, and may set the following cookies:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__stripe_mid | Stripe, on ezoig.com | Fraud prevention: recognizes a device across payment sessions. | 1 year |
__stripe_sid | Stripe, on ezoig.com | Fraud prevention: identifies a single browsing session. | 30 minutes |
m | Stripe, on m.stripe.com | Fraud prevention and security. | Set by Stripe; long-lived |
To assess fraud risk, Stripe's script also collects information about your device and how you interact with the page, and may show a CAPTCHA challenge. Stripe states that it uses this information only for fraud prevention and security, and never for advertising. Stripe may change the cookies it uses. Details are in Stripe's Privacy Policy and Stripe's Cookie Policy.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. Cloudflare's script runs only on our contact form, and usually shows nothing: it asks you to tick a box only when it cannot tell. To decide, it collects information about your browser and device and how you interact with the page, and our server checks the result with Cloudflare before your message is sent. It sets no cookies on ezoig.com. Cloudflare states that it does not use this information for advertising. Details are in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
7. Advertising and Analytics Cookies
Our public website (the home, features, pricing, privacy, terms and cookie pages, and the confirmation you see after sending us a message, but not the contact form itself) loads Google Tag Manager, which loads tags from advertising and analytics platforms, such as Google, Meta, Microsoft (Bing), Reddit, LinkedIn and TikTok. The platforms we use may change, but they are always advertising or analytics providers, always loaded through Google Tag Manager on the pages described here, and always covered by the opt-outs in section 8. The tags tell each platform that your browser visited, which pages it viewed, whether it clicked to start a trial, whether it arrived from one of our ads, and whether it sent us a message through our contact form and on what topic (for example, a demo request), never your name, email address or what you wrote. When you start a trial, a confirmation page loads them once to record that a trial started, with its plan and price; it sends nothing else about your account. Once you have used the ezOIG application, our public pages tell the platforms that your browser belongs to a customer.
The platforms use this to measure our advertising and how our website is used, and to show ezOIG ads to people who have visited our website but are not customers, on their own sites and apps and across their advertising networks (often called retargeting or remarketing). A platform may link the visit to an account you hold with it. We set two cookies of our own for this:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ezoig_customer | Remembers that this browser has used the ezOIG application, so our public pages can tell the platforms to stop showing you our ads. It holds no account information. | 400 days |
ezoig_trial_started | Carries a new trial's plan to the confirmation page, once. Deleted when that page loads. | 10 minutes |
Each platform's tag sets its own cookies on ezoig.com. For example, the platforms named above may set:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Recognizes your browser to measure and target ads. | 90 days | |
_gcl_aw | Records the Google ad you clicked to reach the Site. | 90 days | |
_fbp | Meta | Recognizes your browser to measure and target ads. | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta | Records the Facebook or Instagram ad you clicked to reach the Site. | 90 days |
_uetsid | Microsoft | Recognizes your browser during a visit. | 1 day |
_uetvid | Microsoft | Recognizes your browser across visits to measure and target ads. | 13 months |
_uetmsclkid | Microsoft | Records the Microsoft ad you clicked to reach the Site. | 90 days |
_rdt_uuid | Recognizes your browser to measure and target ads. | 90 days | |
_rdt_cid | Records the Reddit ad you clicked to reach the Site. | 90 days | |
li_fat_id | Records the LinkedIn ad you clicked to reach the Site. | 30 days | |
_ttp | TikTok | Recognizes your browser to measure and target ads. | 13 months |
ttclid | TikTok | Records the TikTok ad you clicked to reach the Site. | 1 day |
The cookies that record an ad click are set only when you arrive from an ad. The platforms also set cookies on their own domains, such as doubleclick.net, google.com, facebook.com, bing.com, reddit.com, linkedin.com and tiktok.com, and some keep the same identifiers in your browser's local or session storage. Each platform may change the cookies it uses, and uses what it collects under its own privacy policy, for example Google's, Meta's, Microsoft's, Reddit's, LinkedIn's and TikTok's.
8. Managing Cookies
We do not ask for cookie consent. The cookies in section 4 are strictly necessary, the Stripe cookies protect payments, and the advertising and analytics tags load only on our public website and the trial confirmation page. You can opt out of advertising and analytics in any of these ways:
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our website loads neither Google Tag Manager nor any advertising or analytics tag, and the trial confirmation page is skipped. Some browsers send it by default; others offer it as a setting or an extension.
- Your browser. You can block or delete cookies, including third-party cookies, and clear local storage in your browser settings. If you block our own cookies you will not be able to sign in, and if you block the Stripe cookies, adding a payment method may fail.
- The platforms. You can limit personalized ads in the ad settings of your account with each platform, such as Google's My Ad Center, and through the industry opt-out pages of the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
Our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals; Global Privacy Control is the signal we honor.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change the cookies we set ourselves, or how or why we use cookies, we will update this policy and the "Last Updated" date above before the change takes effect. The advertising and analytics platforms described in section 7 set and change their own cookies, and we update the examples listed there from time to time.
