Also required

Not registry lookups; ezOIG doesn't run these
  • State and national fingerprinted criminal history check for the crimes in Wyoming Statutes Title 6, Chapters 2 and 4 (Ch. 45 § 14(e)(iii)); the approved waivers (Appendix C-2(a)) and the HCBS Section's DD screening page now ask for a national name- and SSN-based screening and refuse state-only screenings
  • CPR and first aid certification, and a medication assistance training certificate for anyone assisting with medications (Ch. 45 § 5(a))
  • Volunteers and staff under 18 supervised by a screened adult; nobody convicted of a sexual offense may volunteer (Ch. 45 § 14(k))

Why some registries are not screened yet

The registry blocks automated access
The registry's website turns away automated lookups. We don't work around that, so for now your staff search it themselves.
Checked by request to the agency
The agency answers a written request or form rather than an online search.

Guidance, not legal advice

This page summarizes ezOIG's research into Wyoming's rules for this program, checked against the regulations as of October 16, 2026. Rules change, and an agency's own contract or license can add to them. Confirm what applies to you with Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Healthcare Financing (Wyoming Medicaid) or your own counsel before relying on it.
