Also required

Not registry lookups; ezOIG doesn't run these
  • National name- and Social Security number-based criminal history database screening for the barrier crimes in Wyoming Statutes Title 6, Chapters 2 and 4, before unsupervised access and every five years (Wyoming Medicaid Rules Ch. 34 § 10(d)(iii), (f), (i))
  • Signed attestation of no barrier crime and no DFS substantiation for anyone working provisionally while results are pending (CCW Provider Manual, 7/2026)
  • Provider training standards (Ch. 34 § 11)

Why some registries are not screened yet

The registry blocks automated access
The registry's website turns away automated lookups. We don't work around that, so for now your staff search it themselves.
The registry's terms forbid automated searches
The registry's terms, or the law behind it, rule out automated or third-party searches, so ezOIG doesn't run them.
Checked by request to the agency
The agency answers a written request or form rather than an online search.

Guidance, not legal advice

This page summarizes ezOIG's research into Wyoming's rules for this program, checked against the regulations as of October 16, 2026. Rules change, and an agency's own contract or license can add to them. Confirm what applies to you with Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Healthcare Financing (Wyoming Medicaid) or your own counsel before relying on it.
