Also required

Not registry lookups; ezOIG doesn't run these
  • Criminal background check before hire under the provider's screening policy (ARSD 46:11:04:15.02; ARSD 46:11:09:03(3)(b) for Family Support 360 qualified providers)
  • Drug screening policy (SDCL 27B-1-19; ARSD 46:11:04:15.02(3))
  • Family Support 360 service coordinators: criminal background check and age 21 or older (ARSD 46:11:09:02)

Why some registries are not screened yet

The registry's terms forbid automated searches
The registry's terms, or the law behind it, rule out automated or third-party searches, so ezOIG doesn't run them.
Paid access
The agency charges for access, and ezOIG doesn't include it yet.

Guidance, not legal advice
