IOWA · CARE PROGRAM

Homemaker, Home Care Aide and Other In-Home Services

Employees who give direct in-home services for a provider the state regulates or funds (for example through Older Americans Act or local public health contracts) that is not a home health agency or waiver provider. Iowa does not license non-medical home care, so private-pay-only agencies fall outside Iowa Code § 135C.33(5).
